The Ibrahim Dadi Adare Foundation has extended a generous gesture to over 50 pupils of Magajin Rafi Model Primary School in Sokoto, donating free school uniforms and writing materials.
The initiative aims to encourage underprivileged children to pursue education with confidence and hope.
The school’s headmaster, Kabiru Yusuf, who supervised the distribution, emphasized the importance of providing students with essential tools for learning. “Without the right materials, a child can’t learn effectively,” he said, expressing gratitude to Ibrahim Dadi Adare, the Commissioner for Local Government and founder of the foundation.
Abbas Bello Mai Wurno, Chairman of the School-Based Management Committee, also commended the act, noting it was the second donation by the foundation this year reflecting Adare’s consistent commitment to improving education and student welfare.
Parents and pupils alike were full of appreciation, describing the gesture as one that has not only brought smiles but also rekindled hope for a brighter future.
