He commended the late cleric’s immense contributions to the growth of Islam, moral discipline, peaceful coexistence and spiritual enlightenment, stating that these legacies would remain enduring pillars of national memory.
According to the former Governor of Sokoto State, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi lived a life marked by humility, compassion and deep commitment to spreading knowledge.
His teachings strengthened communities, healed divisions and reminded Nigerians of the timeless values of faith, patience and righteousness.
Senator Tambuwal noted that Nigeria had lost an irreplaceable light and the Muslim Ummah one of its most respected spiritual leaders.
He extended his condolences to the family of the late scholar, the Darikar Tijjaniyya community, his students and all who benefited from his impactful life. He prayed that Almighty Allah SWT forgives his shortcomings, accepts his lifelong service, illuminates his grave and grants him Aljannatul Firdaus.
