Audu Bako College of Agriculture Dambatta Denies Defying Kano Govt, Labels Allegations False.

The Audu Bako College of Agriculture in Dambatta Local Government Area of Kano State, has denied allegations of disobeying the Kano State Government’s directives.

The Provost of the College, Professor Muhammad Audu Wailare, made this known during a press briefing in his office.

Wailare said that the Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Northwest Zone, Dr. Abdulaziz Badaru, is tarnishing the image of the College by spreading false reports regarding the suspension of a lecturer named Malam Ahmad, who was previously remove over allegations of physically assaulting of another staff member in public an incident that prompted both the College and the Kano State Civil Service Commission to take disciplinary action.

Professor Wailare stated that Dr. Badaru is using the media to spread false claims that the College defied the directives of the Kano State Government.

He added that in all his years as the head of the institution, no administration has given special attention to the Audu Bako College like the current administration of His Excellency, Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf.

He emphasized that it is only right to commend Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf for his tireless efforts and commitment to improving the education sector across the state.
