The Managing Director, National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPEDEC), Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yauri (Katukan Yauri) has led his supporters from Yauri Emirate on a solidarity visit to Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu.

The visit was joint together with the newly appointed Emir of Zuru, Alhaji Mikailu Sami Gomo III, at the Presidential Lodge, Birnin Kebbi.
Fielding questions from Journalists shortly after the visit, the MD said the visit with his team was to show appreciation to the governor over his reapportionment as the MD HYPEDEC.
He added that his tenure as MD would not be complete without thanking the governor with a total show of appreciation to his administration.
“You are a leader with mission and vision, my returning to the office as the MD was possible because of your efforts and love you have for me in particular and the people of Kebbi State at large,” he said.
The MD expressed his willingness to continue to be loyal and committed to the development of the state and assured that he would do everything possible to carry all manner of people along.
In his general remark, the Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris thanked the people of Kebbi South for their support and cooperation towards ensuring the success of his administration.
While recalling that his administration had done a lot for the people of Yauri, the governor assured that he would continue to do more by giving all a sense of belonging.
