This was announced by one of the most adorable leaders of the party, former governor of the state and now distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic representing Zamfara West at the National Assembly.
Yari who also chaired the meeting said for continuity, peace and progress of Nigeria, Tinubu has been the right person.
Senator Yari said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a leader that listens to people’s advise and has a good plan for the country.
He assured that foodstuffs will continue to be affordable as the price has currently dropped drastically while fertilizer will be provided in abundance this year as he discussed with President.
Although the Minister of State for Defence and immediate past governor of the state, Dr Bello Mohammed Matawalle was conspicuously absent because he is in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia performing the lesser Hajj, he personally called and addressed the crowd life via a voice call during which he expressed his support and happiness to the call saying it is long overdue.
Earlier, a motion for the endorsement was moved by serving Senator Sahabi Ya’u who is representing Zamfara North in the National Assembly and was seconded by House of Representatives member representing Maru/Bungudu Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu who were both invited by the party leader Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar to come forward and present their demands on the subject matter.
At the end of the meeting all the stakeholders were unanimous in their acceptance and confirmation.
Delivering his speech the state party chairman Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani said the party summoned the stakeholders meeting to review the party’s successes and challenges and to see how to improve for a better future.
He added that the APC in Zamfara State is a formidable and united party to beat in the state and will continue to support President Tinubu’s polices and programmes.
In their separate speeches, former Deputy governors Mallam Ibrahim Wakkala Muhammad, Muktar Ahmad Anka, Senator Hassan Muhammad Nasiha, Senator Sahabi Alhaji Yau, Senator Tijjani Yahaya kaura and Hon. Muktar Shehu Idris emphasised the need for the party’s unity which is the bedrock of any success and progress of the party.
They believe that Zamfara is for APC considering the size of the supporters at all levels and that it will reclaim Zamfara State come 2027.
The unity the party is enjoying and the support from the leaders is quite impressive and has drawn the interest of others to join the party which clearly shows the popularity and acceptance of the party by the electorate.
