The Sokoto State Chapter of the Crystal Muslim Organization (CMO) has distributed food and financial assistance to over 150 vulnerable individuals, including Malaman Zaure (local Islamic teachers), widows, and orphans across the state.

Speaking during the exercise, Hon. Nuruddeen Muhammad Mahe, the Crystal Ameer of Sokoto State, said the initiative aims to ease the current economic hardship facing disadvantaged groups, while reinforcing the organization’s commitment to complementing government efforts in humanitarian service delivery.

The relief items, which included bags of rice and cash gifts, were donated by Alh. Murtala Abdulkadir Dan Iya, a well-known philanthropist in Sokoto. His support enabled the organization to continue its outreach to the less privileged.

District Head of Sokoto, Alh. Aliyu Abubakar III, commended both the organization and the donor, praying for divine reward for their generosity.

Mal. Usman Jabo also lauded the effort, stressing the importance of charity in Islam and appreciating CMO’s consistent concern for the welfare of the community.
