Panic has gripped the Zuru Emirate in Kebbi State following a brutal attack by armed bandits on Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School (GGCSS) Maga, in Danko/Wasagu LGA.
The Vice Principal, Malam Hassan Yakubu Makuku, was shot dead while reportedly trying to protect students. Several students were abducted, though the exact number remains unconfirmed.
But the District head of maga Who seek anonymity confirm to our reporter that about 26 students were kidnapped and 2 people shot dead during the attack.
Also, Eyewitness Murjanatu Hassan Gishiri told The Nations Voice that the attackers struck late at night, encountering no resistance and causing widespread fear across the community.
Residents are mourning the tragic loss and praying for the safe return of the abducted girls.
