Kebbi Has No Alternative to Comrade Governor Kauran Gwandu — Governor’s Aide

In recent weeks, it has become increasingly evident that politicians in Kebbi State are re-evaluating their current political fortunes with a view to determining the best path forward.

This assertion was made by Abdullahi Idris Zuru, Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy to the Kebbi State Governor.

According to Zuru, as alignments and realignments begin in preparation for the 2027 political journey, politicians across party lines and ranks are coming to terms with the reality that, at this stage of Kebbi’s much-needed socio-economic transformation particularly in light of the remarkable achievements recorded within just two years of Comrade Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu)’s administration there is an urgent need for a paradigm shift towards sustainable development.

Zuru noted that the governor’s clear determination and unwavering commitment to impactful service delivery are driving increasing defections to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from other political parties.

While many members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have already joined the APC, others including prominent figures are reportedly beginning to accept the reality that, at this crucial point in Kebbi’s development journey, there is no viable alternative to Governor Nasir Idris.

The wave of defections continues as the governor embarks on his “Thank You” and consultation tour across local governments, reinforcing his dedication to an inclusive and responsive government.

It is now glaringly clear that Comrade Governor Nasir Idris’s commitment to peace, unity, and sustainable development is not only being recognized but appreciated by beneficiaries across all sectors.

The widespread commendations and expressions of confidence from various segments of society further confirm his capacity to redefine the narrative of development in Kebbi State.

However, while the APC in Kebbi State continues to welcome new members with open arms, Zuru emphasized that total support, loyalty, sincerity of purpose, and a genuine interest in the state’s progress remain essential prerequisites for integration.

Comrade Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, remains focused and steadfast in his long-standing philosophy of Aluta Continua the struggle continues for a greater Kebbi State.
