In a heartfelt and nostalgic gathering, the 2014 graduating set of Abdulrashid Adisa Raji Special School Sokoto held their long-awaited reunion, bringing together old classmates in a show of unity, reflection, and celebration of growth.
The event, which was held in skyland in a warm and joyous atmosphere, saw key speeches from former students who used the opportunity to stress the importance of unity, collaboration, and lifelong support among colleagues.
Speaking, Former Head Boy Bilyaminu Abubakar Assada, delivered an emotional speech, reminding attendees of the strong bond they once shared and urging them to continue being each other’s keepers beyond the school walls.
“This reunion is more than just a meet-up, it’s a reminder that we are stronger together,” he said.
Also speaking at the event Buhari Na Malam, from Arts class, echoed similar sentiments.
They highlighted how their shared history should be a foundation for mutual support, mentorship, and community upliftment.
“We owe it to ourselves and to our school to build on the legacy of friendship, discipline, and unity,” said Buhari Na Malam.
The Chairman of the 2014 Oldboys Association, Lieutenant Ishaka Aliyu Modi Sifawa, in his message, appreciated the turnout and commitment of members who made the reunion possible.
He also acknowledged the enduring spirit of brotherhood that has continued to thrive among members of the class.
“This reunion shows we are still connected, not just by school memories, but by purpose,” he noted.
The high point of the event was a special tribute to the overall father figure and former principal of the school, Alhaji Aliyu Modi Sifawa, whose mentorship and selfless service have continued to inspire generations.
Attendees unanimously praised his unwavering support and dedication to nurturing vibrant, responsible youth over the years.
The reunion ended on a promising note, with renewed commitment to strengthening the alumni network and supporting the Abdulrashid Adisa Raji School through mentorship and developmental projects.
