A young man who is passionate about the development of Kazaure Local Government and a member of the APC in the area, Engr. Sulaiman Bala Sunusi (Sulbasun Kazaure), has commended the efforts of the Chairman of Kazaure Local Government, Hon. Mansur Dabuwa, for his commitment to providing modern technological facilities in the area.
Engr. Sulaiman stated that within a short period, the chairman has transformed the administration of the local government into a modern system by turning it into a digital LGA.
Even the issuance of indigene certificates has been moved online. He is also the first to establish an official website for the local government (kazaurelga.jg.gov.ng), something that had never existed before.
This is a significant achievement as it allows the public easy access to information about the local government’s policies and activities, while also creating a direct communication channel between the people and the local government, including the chairman’s office.
Engr. Sulaiman added that the most impressive aspect is how technology has been used to improve security.
When threats of theft and armed robbery began to emerge, the chairman did not wait for the situation to worsen. Instead, he introduced an emergency reporting platform (kazaurelga.jg.gov.ng/emergency), took proactive measures, and integrated technology into the security framework by creating a system that enables security agencies to communicate effectively.
He also strengthened collaboration with neighborhood watch groups to protect lives and property.
Furthermore, among the major initiatives he introduced and completed is the house numbering system, aimed at establishing a well-organized urban structure similar to that of developed cities.
This system is highly beneficial in facilitating quick emergency responses whenever urgent assistance is needed.
Engr. Sulaiman further stated:
“Honestly, when I look back, I ask myself: if such security challenges had arisen during previous administrations, would they have thought of using technology in this way? Did they have this level of understanding of how technology can transform society?”He added
“I am not speaking from a political standpoint; it is his system that impressed me. Without doubt, he has surpassed previous leaders in the history of Kazaure Local Government.”
Engr. Sulaiman concluded by calling on all residents of Kazaure to continue giving their full support and cooperation for the progress of the area and the well-being of its people.
