Nigeria’s bicameral legislature has approved Federal Governments loan request totaling 6.9 billion US dollars.
The requests were communicated in two seperate letters to the Senate and House of Representatives on Tuesday.
The five billion US dollars loan from the First Abu Dhabi Bank of the United Arab Emirates is to establish an external financing programme.
The second request for the sourcing of 1.9billion USD from Citi Bank of London is to be channeled to the upgrade of two Ports, Apapa and Tin Can, both in Lagos.
