Kano Govt Disburses ₦150,000 Each to Over 5,000 Youths in Empowerment Drive

 

In a bold move to empower the youth and stimulate economic growth, the Kano State Government has launched the first tranche of its Youth Empowerment Programme, disbursing ₦150,000 each to 5,384 young entrepreneurs.

Speaking at the official flag-off ceremony, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf stated that the initiative is aimed at helping young men and women kick-start or expand their businesses, encouraging them to become self-reliant and active contributors to the state’s economy.

“This programme is about giving our youth a strong foundation to thrive in business and build a better future,” the governor said.

He urged the beneficiaries to use the funds wisely and reassured those awaiting disbursement that the second tranche will be released soon

Governor Yusuf emphasized his administration’s commitment to youth-focused policies that create lasting opportunities and sustainable livelihoods across Kano State.
