A former House of Representatives aspirant for D/Kudu and Warawa Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulmuminu Tijjani (Mai POS), has stated that the world has today witnessed the depth of love the people of Kano State have for Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, judging by the massive crowd from D/Kudu Local Government that thronged the residence of the leader of the movement on Milla Road.
Mai POS said he was deeply shocked when it was announced that the Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, had left the NNPP and defected to the APC.
He noted that many people were surprised by the decision of the respected governor.
However, he added that the governor would soon be surprised by how political calculations would change, noting that it is common knowledge that the people of Kano State remain firmly with their leader, Kwankwaso.
“Even during elections in previous years, the people of the state knew Kwankwaso; they did not know Governor Abba. Therefore, this development will not in any way frighten or derail the Kwankwasiyya movement,” he said.
Mai POS further stated that those who have betrayed the trust and are currently aligned with the government are free to continue following it, but the time will come when they will return to the house of trust.
He explained that the massive turnout by the people of D/Kudu Local Government at the leader’s residence is a clear sign that all 44 local government areas of Kano State are fully and 100 percent with their leader, Kwankwaso.
Similarly, Mai POS called on the people of Kano State to continue to exercise patience and remain loyal to their leader, Kwankwaso, assuring them that before long, meaningful and positive change would be achieved, just as it happened in the past.
